The Firefly bracelet was a project that began as an idea for a kids bracelet that lights up when friends come nearby. The next 1-1/2 years of product development for me included coming up with the name “Firefly” and creating the logo, overseeing all creative aspects of the bracelets, jewelry research, materials and prototypes, sourcing materials, focus groups, and working alongside of mechanical and electrical engineers. The first iteration of Firefly was launched and then the V2 was initiated. I was honored to be on the patent for this product with the Lightbulb Innovation Group crew.
