FIREFLY BRACELET
Product innovation, design and brand development.
The Firefly bracelet began as a concept for a kids’ wearable that lights up when friends are nearby.
Over 18 months of product development, I worked under creative direction while leading end-to-end creative execution across concept development, naming, logo design, and product definition.
I developed the Firefly name and brand identity, created initial design directions, and translated concepts into early physical prototypes. This included sourcing materials, coordinating component orders from overseas and domestic manufacturers, and hand-building prototype outer shells to test form and function.
I worked closely with mechanical and electrical engineers and assembly teams throughout development, helping refine both the aesthetic direction and functional performance of the product through iterative testing.
I also participated in focus group sessions and incorporated feedback into multiple product iterations, including the initial launch (V1) and subsequent development (V2).
I am named on the patent alongside the Lightbulb Innovation Group team.
