I know what you’re thinking—I can’t believe you got to work on Marvel products. I still can’t either.
For two years, I worked with licensed artwork from Marvel and DC archives, translating iconic characters and story worlds into small-format product applications including rings, watch bands, and series-based collections.
One of the biggest creative challenges was distilling complex characters and narratives into an extremely limited surface area while still making the design feel recognizable, collectible, and commercially viable—without losing the integrity of the source material.
This led to extensive exploration through ring design concepts, experimental series directions, and iterative layout approaches, many of which were developed through production constraints and never released.
The collaboration pushed my collage and compositional skills significantly, while deepening my understanding of licensed production workflows and how to achieve strong visual storytelling within tight technical limitations.
The catalog below was not designed by me but by my fantastic designer friend Heather.
The renderings are also not mine, but the great Scott Harrison's work.
